Hill Country Map

The Texas Hill Country sits to the west of Austin and the north of San Antonio.

It is commonly taken to be that portion of the state that sits on the Edwards Plateau and the Balcones Escarpment, usually taken to mean roughly that area bounded by Interstate 35 on the east, Texas Highway 29 on the north, US Highway 90 to the south, and west to US Highway 83.
